What is a Coolbox?

The Coolbox is a modern, comfortable, fully equipped mini chalet. It’s the perfect alternative between camping and a hotel.

How many people can sleep in a Coolbox?

Typically, a Coolbox accommodates up to 4 guests, with some models hosting up to 6 or even 8.

Are Coolbox open all year?

While some locations are seasonal, many Coolboxes can be enjoyed all year, particularly in ski resorts

Amenities and Comfort

Are drinking water and toilets available in Coolbox?

All our units feature a bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink, and have access to drinking water, unless stated otherwise.

Is there hot water in Coolbox?

Yes! Just keep in mind that the hot water tanks are smaller than what you’re used to at home.

Is there a kitchen in the Coolbox?

Yes! Every Coolbox comes with a kitchenette, complete with all the appliances and utensils needed to cook a delicious meal.

Is there heating or air conditioning?

Absolutely! All our Coolboxes are well-insulated, with heating for winter and air conditioning for summer.

Are sheets and towels included?

This varies by location, so make sure to check the accommodation listing.

Is there a TV in the Coolbox?

No! It’s the perfect chance to unwind, connect with others, and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Do the Coolbox have Wi-Fi?

Internet access is limited, so be sure to download your favorite shows and movies before you arrive.

Are Coolbox accessible to people with reduced mobility?

No. Coolbox units are currently not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Are assistance dogs allowed in the Coolbox?

Yes! Assistance dogs are welcome in all our units, following the applicable laws. You may be asked to provide proof (for example, a harness, documentation, or ID card). Just inform us when booking so we can ensure the best possible welcome.

Pets

Are pets allowed?

Yes, some units accept dogs, with an additional fee. Please check the details of your destination before booking.

Reservations and Modifications

How can I book a Coolbox?

You can book directly on our website, through our secure Réservit booking system, or by phone at +1 418-902-0588.

Am I able to change or cancel my booking?

Yes, under certain conditions. The cancellation and modification terms are specified at the time of booking. For any requests, please contact us at reservit@coolbox.ca or consult our TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

How can I modify or cancel my booking?

Simply contact our Customer Service team by phone or email: +1 418-902-0588 / reservit@coolbox.ca.

How do I book if I have a Prestige Box or Québec Package?

If you have a Prestige Box or Québec Package, please contact Customer Service and provide your box number along with your preferred destination.

Arrival and Departure

What are the check-in and check-out times?

  • Check-in: from 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM (depending on the location)
  • Check-out: before 11:00 AM

How can I collect my key?

You can collect your key at the reception or from a lockbox. Detailed instructions will be emailed to you seven (7) days before your arrival.

Is it possible to arrive before check-in or leave after check-out?

No, it is not possible to check in early or check out late.

What should I do if I have a problem or question during my stay?

We recommend contacting the on-site staff directly via the emergency phone number or email provided in your pre-arrival email. In an emergency, you can also call our Customer Service team at +1 418-902-0588. After hours, please leave a detailed voicemail or press ‘0’.

Are activities part of the package?

Access to activities varies by destination. Full details are always listed in the unit description.
